About

The Cleveland Ski Club

The Cleveland Ski club is a group of skiers dedicated to the sport of skiing and snowboarding. Founded in 1937, it's one of the oldest ski clubs in Ohio. It is the ONLY ski club in Ohio with its own hill, the serene Big Creek Ski area, which we acquired in 1958. The ski club is maintained by moderate membership dues, volunteer assistance, and donations.

Big Creek Ski Area

If you're skiing in Ohio, Big Creek Ski Area is the place to be. Big creek Ski Area is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Lake County MetroParks. Our hills have the best skiing elevation in Ohio and is located in the heart of the Snow-belt.

Slope Statistics

Our Season We open as early as we can in the winter months and ski until the snow is gone! Our hill faces North, so when it warms up, our snow takes longer to melt.
